Liquor Purchase Suggestions

     If you are able to provide your own liquor for your reception, then you will probably save a good deal of money. Here are a few guidelines on what to buy based on the standard of 100 guests.   FYI:  Each "fifth" of liquor will serve approximately 17 drinks.  For a buffet wedding, approximate that each guest will have 5 drinks.  Remember, these are guidelines and your individual situation may vary.  Be sure to discuss this with your hall , caterer or liquor store.  They may have their own "suggested amounts" based on their experience at their facility.  Please do not forget the all important Liquor Permit if required.

If your responsibilities include supplying the entire bar and mixes, here is a general list of the things you may need:
      (Many of these may be provided by your hall, caterer, or bar service.  Sometimes called "Set-ups" or "Bar Backs" for an additional cost. Generally the cost should be between $1.50 and $4.00 per person and should include most all items below)
